WHAT THE RUGGED LIFETIME WARRANTY™ COVERS

This warranty covers legitimate product failure related to:
• Material defects
• Stitching and craftsmanship failure
• Manufacturing defects
• Hardware malfunction under responsible, real-world use

If a Rugged Dog Company product fails because it wasn’t built right, we will make it right.

WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

This warranty does NOT cover:
• Chewing, gnawing, or deliberate destruction
• Cutting, burning, or contact with sharp or abrasive surfaces
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or extreme abuse
• Cosmetic wear, fading, scuffs, or normal ageing
• Expected use-based deterioration over time
• Any product that has been altered or modified

No piece of gear is indestructible, and this warranty does not cover destruction.

WHO THIS WARRANTY APPLIES TO

The Rugged Lifetime Warranty applies to:
• Rugged Dog Company–manufactured products marked as lifetime warranty eligible
• The original purchaser only
• Items purchased directly from Rugged Dog Company or authorized retailers

This warranty is non-transferable.

PROOF OF PURCHASE

A receipt, order confirmation, or other verifiable proof of purchase is required. If you don’t have it, contact us — we will make reasonable efforts to verify your purchase.

HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM (MECHANICS)

To file a warranty claim:

1. Email hello@ruggeddogcompany.com
2. Include your order number or proof of purchase
3. Attach clear photos of the issue
4. Provide a brief explanation of what happened

In many cases, we can approve and resolve claims using photos without requiring the product to be returned.

RETURNING A PRODUCT FOR WARRANTY

If a return is required for an approved warranty claim:

• Our support team will provide return authorization and shipping instructions
• Do not ship products back without approval
• Rugged Dog Company covers return shipping for valid warranty claims

If a claim is determined to be non-warranty related, the customer is responsible for any shipping costs.

THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS & CONSUMABLES

Third-party products may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Chews, treats, and consumables are not eligible for lifetime warranty coverage.

If something isn’t right, we will still review the situation under the Rugged No-Quit Guarantee.
