All Four Paws Stay on the Ground
No lifting front legs. No threading paws through loops. Our two magnetic Fidlock® V-Buckles open both sides of the body strap, so you can fasten the harness around your dog while all four paws stay on the ground.
Slip it over their head, position the chest strap between their front legs, bring the body straps around, and click both buckles closed. Unlike step-in harnesses that require paws through openings, this design lets you gear up without lifting your dog's legs. The harness still slips over the head.

How do I measure my dog and choose a harness size?
Have your dog stand naturally. Measure around the widest part of the chest, directly behind the front legs, and around the base of the neck. Keep the tape snug, not tight; non-stretch string laid against a ruler also works. Chest girth is the most important harness measurement, but check the neck range too. Measure twice and compare both measurements with our size guide; choose by measurements rather than breed or weight alone. If between sizes, choose the larger size and adjust for a secure fit.
How should the harness fit, and how do I adjust it?
Use the four adjustment points for a snug, comfortable fit. Center the Y-shaped front across the chest and keep the sternum strap aligned. The body strap should sit around the ribcage behind the front legs, clear of the armpit creases and soft belly. Recheck after a short walk for excessive shifting, rubbing, or redness and adjust as needed.
Is it easy to put on without lifting my dog’s legs?
Yes. Open both FIDLOCK® V-Buckles, slip the harness over your dog’s head, position the chest strap between the front legs, and fasten the body straps around your dog. There’s no need to lift legs or thread paws through loops. The harness still slips over the head.
Which leash attachment should I use if my dog pulls?
The front Double D-ring helps redirect pulling from the chest and gives you more control during training. Use the rear attachment for relaxed walks with dogs that don’t pull. Proper fit and consistent training help you get the best results.
Can my dog back out of the harness?
The four adjustment points, Y-shaped design, and stabilizing sternum strap help provide a secure fit and reduce the chance of backing out when properly fitted. Always check the fit before a walk; no harness should be treated as escape-proof.
Will it rub or restrict my dog’s movement?
The minimal Y-shaped design helps preserve natural shoulder movement while distributing pressure across the chest. Correct sizing and adjustment matter: straps should not dig in, and your dog should be able to move naturally. Recheck the fit if you notice rubbing or redness.
How do the magnetic FIDLOCK® buckles stay closed?
Magnets guide each buckle together; the mechanical locking system secures the connection once fully engaged. An intentional pull on the release tab opens the buckle. Always check that both buckles are fully engaged before use.

Is the harness reflective?
Yes. Reflective stitching is integrated into the polyester webbing to help improve visibility when light hits it during low-light walks.
Should I use a harness or a collar for walks?
Choose the harness for front-clip control when your dog pulls or when you prefer a harness’s adjustable fit. A collar can carry identification while the leash attaches to the harness. For dogs that walk calmly without pulling, the collar’s main D-ring is another leash-attachment option.
How do I care for the gear?
Hand wash with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and air dry. Check the webbing and hardware regularly, and replace damaged gear.
