This isn't an ordinary plastic dog collar buckle.
The premium FIDLOCK® V-Buckle combines magnetic guidance with a secure mechanical locking system. Magnets help guide the buckle together for quick, intuitive closure, but the magnets aren't what keep it closed. Once engaged, the mechanical locking system provides the secure hold.
The V-Buckle is self-securing—the greater the load, the more force required to open it—while an intentional pull on the release allows quick, intuitive removal when you want it open.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Large fit a Cane Corso or other extra-large dog?
The Large adjusts from 16–26" and fits many large and extra-large dogs, including many Cane Corsos, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, and similar powerful breeds. Neck size varies significantly between individual dogs, so always measure before ordering.
How secure is the magnetic FIDLOCK® buckle?
The magnets guide the buckle into position—they aren't what keep it closed. Once connected, the FIDLOCK® V-Buckle's mechanical locking system secures the buckle until you intentionally release it using the pull tab.
Is this collar designed for strong dogs?
Yes. This heavy-duty dog collar for large dogs and powerful breeds combines high-strength webbing tested to approximately 906 lbs, aircraft-grade aluminum hardware, and a FIDLOCK® magnetic-mechanical buckle while remaining lightweight enough for everyday wear.
Is the small D-ring for the leash?
No. The mini D-ring is for identification tags only. Attach your leash to the collar's primary aluminum D-ring.
Is the collar reflective?
Yes. Premium reflective stitching helps increase visibility during low-light walks. Reflective detailing is an added visibility feature and isn't a substitute for appropriate nighttime lighting or safety equipment.
