It started with three dogs who destroyed everything.
We’d bought “indestructible” toys for our three dogs—Charlie, Abby, and Peyton—more times than we could count. They’d tear them apart in minutes.
Every shredded toy left us wondering: “Is this a $5,000 vet bill waiting to happen?”
We don’t have kids. Our dogs are our kids. We wanted products we could feel good about giving them. That’s where Rugged Dog Company began.
More options weren’t the answer. Better ones were.
The shelves were full. Finding products we could trust was the hard part. So we started choosing what we wished we’d found in the first place: tough rubber toys and rawhide-free chews cut thicker. When we couldn’t find gear with the strength we wanted without the bulk, we designed our own—lightweight, made with premium materials, and easy to put on and take off.
That became Rugged Dog Company. Everything we offer is vetted the way we’d vet it for our own dogs—because that’s exactly what we’re doing.
A better way to work, play, and settle.
Dogs like ours need something to work at, a way to burn energy, and a chew to settle down with. A durable toy is part of the picture.
