Extreme Chewer Refill Pack
Built for power chewers that destroy standard chews too quickly. Most owners land here because chew time is inconsistent: one chew type doesn’t work in every situation, dogs burn through chews fast, odor can be an issue, and some dogs do better with a chew that’s easier on sensitive stomachs.
Packaging may state “Monster” (bully sticks) or “Jumbo” (beef cheek rolls). These reflect the same size and weight standards as our Gargantuan tier.
The Rugged Dog Company Extreme Chewer Refill Pack solves that by pairing three long-lasting, rawhide-free dog chews with distinct textures and benefits — so you can rotate the right chew for the moment (extended engagement, steady gnawing, low-odor chewing) instead of guessing.
Instead of relying on one chew type, this pack delivers rotational durability: three textures, three densities, and three different chewing experiences built for serious chewers.
This is a fixed refill pack, not a subscription. Three chew styles in one convenient pack.
Includes 9 total chews: 1× 3-Pack 6" Gargantuan Bully Sticks, 1× 3-Pack XL Himalayan Yak Cheese, and 1× 3-Pack 9–11" Gargantuan Beef Cheek Rolls.
What you’re getting
-
6" Gargantuan Bully Sticks (3-pack) – for dogs that finish standard bully sticks too fast. Selected for thickness and overall weight (not just length) to support longer-lasting chew sessions and fewer wasted chews. A popular choice when you want a single-ingredient, high-protein chew that stands up better than typical bully sticks.
Pack weight: approx. 105–120 g total (typically 35–40 g per stick).
Ingredient: 100% South American beef pizzle (single-ingredient, rawhide-free). -
XL Himalayan Yak Cheese Chews (3-pack) – a longer-lasting alternative to bully sticks for dogs that need extended chewing time. Commonly chosen for low-odor chewing and firm, slow-softening resistance. Many owners also like the chewing action for dental support through mechanical abrasion during chewing (not a dental treatment).
Net weight: 15–18 oz total (425–510 g); pieces average ~6.5" and typically 5–6 oz each.
Ingredients: Yak milk, cow milk, salt, lime juice (no grains or gluten ingredients). -
Gargantuan Beef Cheek Rolls 9–11" (3-pack) – a long-lasting alternative to bully sticks with a firm chew and slightly spongy resistance that encourages steady gnawing instead of quick consumption. Often chosen by owners who want a durable, rawhide-free chew that many dogs find easier to digest, including dogs with sensitive stomachs. Also commonly used to add variety when dogs get bored with a single chew texture.
Net weight: 675–825 g total (23.8–29.1 oz).
Ingredient: 100% South American beef cheek (single-ingredient, rawhide-free).

Good quality yak chews. My pup really likes the smell and taste of these chews! Very durable
Hi Louise! We're so glad your pup enjoys the yak chews and finds them durable. Thanks for sharing your positive experience!
So I have 2 Staffordshire Terriers, Ike and Ti na Turner Compton, and I have 2 4 month old Pitbull Terriers, Sly and Stone Compton. Besides the Yak Cheese, I also ordered 6" Bully Sticks, and 12" Bully Sticks, both the Gargantuan varieties.
I can not tell you how delighted I was when I received their treats and opened the box.
Between the packaging, and the size of ALL the treats, I was floored. I have always had multiple companions, 3+ the last 25 yrs, and I have ordered a lot of treats, from many companies. After a while you get a pretty good idea of cost to size and quality of treats available, and I was pleasantly surprised by the clean neat packaging, the size of treats (and I mean ALL of the treats were sizable, sometimes you might order treats and get a range of sizing, typically not uniform throughout each individual treat but these, every one of the treats were uniformly gargantuan, BUT more over, the quality of ALL the treats were impressive. I will be ordering again. My crew loves them, and whatever makes them happy, makes me happy. Thank you Rugged Dog Company!
I'm a retired disabled veteran, Navy, we have a term for a job well done, it is BZ!
James,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. Hearing that the quality, size, consistency, and packaging exceeded your expectations means a lot to our entire team.
We're especially glad to hear that Ike, Tina Turner, Sly, and Stone are enjoying everything. It sounds like you've got quite the crew of power chewers!
Most importantly, thank you for your service to our country. We truly appreciate it. And coming from a Navy veteran, we'll proudly take the BZ!
Thank you for trusting Rugged Dog Company with your crew. We look forward to taking care of all of you again!
My golden LOVES her Yak Cheese! She will non stop chew on it and it has lasted longer than other chews we have tried and also keeps her very happy and occupied! Definitely going to be getting her some more!!
Amber, this is awesome to hear—thank you for sharing!
Sounds like your golden found a new favorite. That’s exactly what we aim for—something that actually keeps them busy and lasts longer than the typical chew.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review (and the photos are great). Give her an extra scratch for us!

Highly recommend these even if you have a smaller dog. Our lab-chihuahua mix is obsessed with them. She chews on these for over an hour every time we give it to her and actually have to take it away from her at night. They are much longer lasting than other similar treats on the market.
Hi Karen,
Thank you so much for the review — this is awesome to hear.
That’s exactly what we aim for with these — long-lasting chew time that actually keeps dogs engaged (sometimes a little too engaged 😄).
W really appreciate you calling out that they work well even for smaller dogs too — that helps a lot of other customers.
Such a great “busy” chew! We have a dog that goes through chews so fast and we couldn’t believe it when we gave this to him and he chewed on it for an hour and barely made a dent! Highly recommend for a dog that finishes chews in record time. We will be buying another one once we need to.
Jamie — this is awesome to hear.
When a dog that usually flies through chews slows down like that, you know it’s doing its job.
Appreciate you taking the time to share this (and the pics — great dog).
We’ll make sure you’re stocked up when it’s time for the next batch.
My dog went absolutely nuts when we gave this to her! She gets SO excited when we pull it out for her to chew on and barely leaves it alone! I can't recommend this the high enough!!
Love this — that excitement is exactly what we want to see. 🙌
Yak chews are great for keeping them busy and giving them something they actually look forward to.
Pro tip: if you ever want to make it more of a challenge, you can place the chew inside our Work-to-Eat toy to turn it into a puzzle.
Sounds like she’s hooked already. Appreciate you sharing this (and the photo)!
These yak chews are massive! Dogs love them!
These bully sticks are super thick. The ones we got from chewy takes our boys about 5 minutes to go through one. These bad boys took one 30 minutes and the other an hour! Well worth the money!
These are amazing! Great size, raw-hide free, and keeps our dogs entertained for for quite sometime.
My dogs loved these
Thanks, Iris! We're so glad your dogs loved the Extreme Chewer Refill Pack. We appreciate you choosing Rugged Dog Company and sharing your experience!
I think it's just not for her. It's either too big for her (she's a 7 month old lab). She works at it, then loses interest. I think she prefers the bully sticks and a chew with a flavor.
Hi Laura, thanks for sharing what your Lab enjoys. Our large beef cheek rolls may be more chew than she wants right now, and every dog has different preferences. Please contact hello@ruggeddogcompany.com so we can help you find a size and texture that better suit her. We appreciate the honest feedback!
I have 3 dogs and my older one loves the yak chews more than anything. Have to buy them for her
Carolyn, we're so glad your older girl has found a favorite in the yak chews! Thank you for sharing what she loves and for letting us help keep your dogs happy.
These are fantastic. My dogs chewed on them for a couple of hours. They loved them.I have two lab mixes and it's hard to find chews that last so long.
Hi there! We're so happy to hear your dogs loved the Himalayan Yak Cheese and enjoyed their long chew time. Thanks for sharing your experience!
My little POOCHON has the chewing power of a small grizzly bear! He loves the yak cheese 🧀!
😂 A Poochon with the chewing power of a small grizzly bear — we love it! We’re glad our XL Yak Cheese is up to the challenge. You’ve already got the SETTLE side of the Rugged Dog System covered with a long-lasting chew he loves. Add ENGAGE for mental work and EXERCISE for durable play, and you’ve got the full setup for your little grizzly. 🐻🐾 Thanks for the 5 stars, James!
Our lab puppy had yak cheese for the first time and went crazy. She tossed it around; pounced it; hid it in the couch; “found it” and enjoyed it for over 30 minutes until I put it away. Great product and shipped quickly. Will order again.
Thank you so much for the great review! We love hearing that your lab puppy had so much fun with the yak cheese — the “find it” part made us laugh. We’re really glad it kept her engaged and that everything arrived quickly. Thanks again for supporting Rugged Dog Company, and we look forward to your next order!
Wow! These chews are great. They last multiple sessions for our two huskies, has a variety of options, and forwhat we got for the price is far beyond what we get at other box and online stores
If you’re looking for high-quality, long-lasting chews for your dogs, I can’t recommend Rugged Dog Company enough.
We’ve tried countless brands over the years, and most either don’t last, smell terrible, or leave a mess. Rugged Dog Company is on a completely different level. Their chews are durable, clean, and clearly made with quality and safety in mind. Even our heavy chewers stay busy for a long time, which says a lot.
What really stands out is the consistency every order has been fresh, well-packaged, and exactly what we expected. No weird fillers, no mystery ingredients, just solid products you can feel good about giving your dogs.
If you want chews that actually hold up and keep your dogs happy (and occupied), Rugged Dog Company is absolutely worth it. We’ll definitely keep coming back.
Adam, we really appreciate this - thank you for the detailed feedback. If you ever feel like updating your review in the Shop app with those photos of your dogs enjoying them, other high-drive dog owners would love seeing it. Thanks again for supporting Rugged Dog Company.
Phenomenal! It took our high anxiety chewer 30 minutes to get through just one. For reference, the thickest ones from chewy takes him 5 minutes to get through! Our other husky it took an hour. He even needed a break to go outside! They have never been so occupied with a chew until now!
These are absolutely amazing! My dogs, 2 60lb huskies. They loved these and it kept them extenely entertianed and busy far longer than any other chew we have purchased from chewy or amazon.
Couldnt have been happeier with our purchase.
