My 2-yr old female (only 80 pounds of love) Malamute loves this toy even when not filled with treats! She loves it so much I got a second one for when one is being washed so she never has to be without! Then I bought 3 more to donate to the rescue organization where I got her. Malamutes can be power chewers when motivated (if they aren't feeling "whatever"), and she managed to destroy every other toy including a well-known black type. But she loves gnawing on this and pushing it around. The unpredictable bounce is a real bonus for play. Thank you!
We absolutely love this — especially that you bought three more for the rescue where you found her! ❤️ An 80-lb Malamute who has destroyed just about everything else but keeps coming back to the Grenade is exactly the kind of dog Rugged Dog was built for.
The Grenade is also a great introduction to our Rugged Dog System — in fact, it’s included in our Complete, Pro and Ultimate Power Chewer boxes. We built the System around three things serious dogs need: Engage for mental work and enrichment, Exercise for durable physical play, and Settle with long-lasting natural chews. We curate all three together so you don't have to figure out the right combination yourself.
If she loves the Grenade, we think she’ll love the rest of the System:

Thank you for trusting Rugged Dog with her — and for paying it forward to the rescue that brought you together! 🐾
My POOCHON has the teeth of an alligator! He loves his new k9 grenade!!
Thanks, James! 😂 It sounds like you've got a serious **power chewer** on your hands! We're thrilled he's loving his **SodaPup Grenade Treat-Dispensing Toy**.
The Grenade is actually one of the pieces we've selected for the **EXERCISE** part of our **Rugged Dog System**, built around three things dogs need: **Engage. Exercise. Settle.** You've already got one piece of the System!

Thanks for trusting Rugged Dog Company with those alligator teeth! 🐊🐾
Durable and entertaining. The bumpy design makes it easy for our dog to hold with small paws. She is 25 lbs. for reference. Nice to put treats in and can be easily washed. Highly recommend.
Thanks so much for the feedback! We are glad she’s enjoying it!
That’s exactly what we were going for with the grip design, especially for smaller dogs. Love that you’re using it for treats too — great way to keep them engaged.
Appreciate you taking the time to share this!
A little over a week and she's chewed off about half the handle.
The bottom has held up after being stuffed with peanut butter and chewed on.
Thanks so much for the honest feedback — this is really helpful.
It sounds like you’ve got a serious power chewer on your hands. The handle on the Grenade can become a target for dogs that like to go after edges, which is likely what you’re seeing here.
The fact that the bottom is still holding up is exactly what we’d expect — that core is designed for durability and enrichment use like peanut butter, stuffing, etc.
This toy is built primarily for enrichment, but for dogs that are heavy chewers outside of treat time, we usually recommend solid rubber options like the Goughnuts Ring or stick — those are designed specifically for constant chewing with no weak points.
